News Letter.
It is proposed to hold the clubs’ Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, 25th of March 2009. The meeting will be at T.R.A.C.C., Tain and will start at 7:00 p.m.. If time permits there will be a shoot afterwards. You are invited to submit any items for the agenda before the of 1st of March to allow the agenda to be circulated prior the meeting.
I also have the unenviable task of reminding you that, despite the credit crunch, the annual membership fees are due on 24th Feb.’09. The fees still stand at £20 and if the current membership all renew we will hopefully avoid an increase for the coming year.
The club held it’s annual shooting competition during October and the winners of each class were presented with their trophies on the 27th. The winners in each class were: Cubs, 1st Mary, 2nd Mathew and 3rd Lyle. Juniors, 1st David and 2nd Sean. The adults saw Roy take 1st place with Allen 2nd.
The club has purchased more equipment, including bows which means there is less “sharing” on the line and will hopefully give us more shooting time.
We also have permission from T.R.A.C.C. to use the outdoor pitch, which will allow us to shoot greater distances. This is bad news for Sandy who still can’t hit the short range targets!. We will wait until the warmer weather before going outside, so come along on Wednesday nights, between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. and give it a try, and see if Sandy finally hits something.
